Employing an Apprentice

Your Apprentice will be taught and trained by up-to-date and highly skilled professionals. We can match your Apprentices training to meet your needs - so your Apprentice can either be entirely in salon and we come out to you to train or we can arrange for the Apprentice to come to our facility on a day of your choice weekly or fortnightly - so your Apprentice remains in your salon when they are most needed. Our Hairdressing, Barbering and Customer service qualifications are highly practical focusing on skills within the workplace.

Plus the Apprentice minimum wage currently stands at £2.60 an hour (minimum 30 hours per week) allowing you the time to train your Apprentice to your standards at a reasonable wage rate. NHTA can also help you recruit; we have a long list of potential learners waiting to be employed by someone like you.
